Description
The steel brackets for the front sway bar bushings are originally fastened to the front frame extension using plated steel metric bolts. The threaded receivers in the frame are welded nuts. During the installation of the sway bar, using either stock rubber or aftermarket urethane bushings, the welded nut threads are at risk of being damaged by cross-threading. The mounting brackets are sometimes a challenge to align with the holes for starting the bolts properly. This stud kit eliminates the use of bolts in favor of fixed threaded studs that are secure in the weld nuts and helps align the bushing mounting brackets for easier and smoother installation of the bushings.
