These are made from brushed high-grade 304 stainless steel that is carefully formed to give that clean “rolled edge” look.
NOTE: This cover eliminates the engine cover stay and stay guide. These parts can be re-installed in a different location but that is not recommended.
Instead, we recommend installation of the DPNW Lower Engine Cover Support Clip (sold separately), together with appropriate original equipment length (18 1/2 inches center of mounting hole to center of mounting hole). Many of the louver struts being sold today by DeLorean vendors are ONLY 17 inches or so long.
No etching currently available. Suggested decoration would be a DMC air filter label.
