In order to give our customers the best and most cost
effective shipping option (which may be different than selected
by the customer during the checkout process), shipping
charges are not determined automatically. Minimum shipping charges will be the cost
of the cheapest flat rate service available through the US Post
If there is any
question regarding shipping method and/or cost, DeLorean Parts
Northwest (DPNW) will make
every effort to contact customers with shipping quotes the next business day
after the order was placed. Shipping quotes requiring
customer approval for orders received
on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday are normally e-mailed out on the following Monday or Tuesday (if Monday
is a holiday). Please
note that for most orders DPNW only charges actual shipping costs;
there are no additional handling or packaging fees.
When We Ship:
Orders are normally shipped
within one or two business days following
receipt of the order if there are no shipping methods/costs
questions and all parts are immediately available. The
customer will be contacted as soon as possible if an item is
temprarily out of stock or no longer available due to website
inventory errors. DPNW is not responsible for website
If customer approval of shipping method and/or cost
is required, customer approval is expected before
the payment is charged and the order is
shipped. Once customer approval has been received, the
order typically ships the next business day.
Sales tax will be charged for items billed to a Washington
address. The sales tax will be calculated at a rate of 8.4%
on the total for both the parts and the cost of shipping.
Please inspect packages immediately upon delivery. If your
package/product arrives in damaged/unacceptable condition,
refuse shipment and contact DeLorean Parts Northwest
If for any reason you need to return merchandise, you must
contact us prior to shipping it in order to receive proper
instructions and authorization. If possible, simply send your
return request as a reply to your shipping or order confirmation email.
Any returns received without prior authorization may be refused.
If you are not satisfied in any way with a product from DeLorean
Parts Northwest, you may exchange or return the item within 30
days from the date the order* was shipped without incurring a
restocking fee. Products returned after 30 day deadline
may still be exchanged or returned for credit but they will be
subject to a 15% restocking fee. Merchandise that has been
damaged by any means other than during shipment to the customer,
altered in any way or is otherwise not fit for resale will not be accepted
for credit or exchange under any circumstances.
When an item has been returned in accordance with this policy, a
return credit will be processed back to the billed credit card.
Shipping charges are not refundable. In addition,
the customer must pay return shipping unless it was a DPNW shipping error.
The customer is responsible for the condition of all returned
items. All merchandise returned to DPNW that
has been damaged, as a result of return shipping, will not be
credited or exchanged. To avoid this inconvenience, please
purchase insurance for all return packages.
